The Graybeard Trio will back at Wings in Shilo Illinois this Friday the 13th (watch out!), from 8:00 to 11:00 pm.

I've decided to close my Amazon store called Audioworld. I'm just going to concentrate on my E-bay store (Score Records) One is enough. Not enough time for my music. Thanks to all who purchased something, and continue to check out all the great deals at my E-bay store Score Records.

The Graybeard Trio will be playing at the beautiful Weingarten Wienery outside of Belleville, 1780 East State Route 15. 1/2 mile east of Eckerts.  The date is Thursday April 26 at 6:30pm. From what I hear it is a fantastic setting for live music with the most delicious wine you've ever tasted.

Dan McGee and Rich Lang just finished recording a new song titled "Old Cats". The song was written by Rich and Dan and is on the Music Page under Dan McGee. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I've decided not to have anymore Guild CD's commercially manufactured. It's just not cost effective. I will though, for those who do not have access to a computer, be able to make Cd's of any of the songs of your choice. Just e-mail, or send a list of the songs you would like, and I will put them together in the order you choose, on a CD, and send it to you, free shipping. Charles Krim just finished writing and recording a demo of a great new song "I'm A Fool For You". Possible plans for a full blown arrangement are pending.

Plans to manufacture future Guild Cd's has been put on hold. I am not sure the market for them justifies the expense. I will upload a Michael McDonald w/ the Guild song, that will be available for purchase, and include it with the "Guild In The Studio" section. All other songs the Guild recorded, in one studio or another, are avaiable here on the site. Thanks, Rich Lang

Dan McGee is back in the studio writing and recording with Rich Lang. We are close to finishing the first tune called "Old Cats". Dan and Rich's first song "Out Of Control" recieved many great reviews which prompted us to do more. Stay tuned for a release date.

I am currently out of "The Guild Live" CD. I hadn't planned on making any more, but due an unforseen demand from the USA, and Japan, I will. I also plan on making a "Guild In The Studio" CD, including two recordings sung by Michael McDonald 1969 or 1970, when he was with the Guild. Stay tuned for the release dates.

I just purchased an Alesis HD24XR 24 track digital recorder. I know they are over 5 years old, and everybody is using complete computer based Pro Tools, but I'm easing into this. I will find out once and for all, the difference in the sound between the best analog machine and  the digital recording world. I'll let you all know what I think.

I might be going crazy, but I'm concidering buying an Alesis HD 24Xr digital recorder. Somebody stop me, and tell me why I should'nt.

Graybeard will be playing at Smitty's Marina in New Athens Illinois in September. The dates haven't been decided yet so stay tuned.

Working on some new songs to record with Denny Wier. MCI JH-24 broke down in the middle of our session. That is always very dissappointing. Sent both power supplies down to Nashville for Steve Sadler to repair, and should be up and running again by next Friday.

Graybeard will be playing Friday, July 22nd, at Wings of Shilo, and Sunday, July 24th at Sullivans in Belleville. Hope to see a lot of people at both places, it makes us feel better.
